Lindsay Kotzman B.Sc. LL.B

Lindsay Kotzman, solicitor, is the Principal of The Practice. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1986 and was also admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia in the same year. After gaining extensive experience in many disciplines of Commercial Law, Lindsay opened the practice in August of 1994. Lindsay Kotzman is distinguishable as a legal practitioner in that he has had:

• Hands on experience in management and control of small to medium sized businesses. As a result, he has gained a sound appreciation of the day to day issues as faced by managers of enterprises.
• First hand experience in the management of commercial real estate and the negotiations of Leases of substantial commercial size. These include supermarkets, commercial office space, retail shops in shopping centres and industrial tenancies.
• Considerable international experience with extensive contacts in South East Asia and other clients in Europe and the United States.

Lindsay Kotzman has been a member of a team that won a National Award under the Government sponsored Ausindustry National Enterprise Workshop scheme for business planning.

Graziela Buscarin LLM

Since graduating with a Master of Laws at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, Graziela worked for 8 years as an attorney and lecturer specializing in Property and contract Law.

She immigrated in 2006 and started working with P&B Law in 2007. Since then she has risen to the role of Department Head of the Property and Conveyancing section which she manages with great skill. She is currently undertaking additional studies to cement her career as an Australian lawyer.

As well as having extensive experience in acting on straight forward conveyancing through to complex multi-level residential and mixed use developments, acquisition of subdivisional sites and subdivisions, Graziela also assists clients in dealing with financiers, architects, surveyors, councils, body corporate managers, accountants, financial advisors and foreign investors. Oren Polichtuk B.Com. LL.B. Dip Legal Practice

After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Oren commenced his legal career with one of Gippsland’s leading law firms where he gained valuable experience in criminal and civil litigation.

Oren has significant experience in all aspect of commercial law. He has assisted clients in setting up and administering various business ventures, selling and buying business with a particular focus on franchising.

He is also experienced in running a variety of complicated matters in the Magistrates, Federal Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts as well as VCAT and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. In early 2010, Oren instructed in a proceeding before the Supreme Court of Vanuatu. Outside of work Oren’s interest include travelling, music, fitness, rock climbing , swimming and when it suits, jumping on the St Kilda football club band wagon.

Rachael Harman B.Sc. LL.B. (hons) Dip Legal Practice

Rachael is a solicitor in our commercial law department. After joining P&B Law in 2009, Rachael was admitted as a Barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2010.

Rachael is a qualified environmental geologist, having previously worked with one of the world’s largest environmental consultancy firms. She has broad and extensively experience in matters of environmental due diligence, creation of legal risk registers and environmental compliance for both large and small scale construction and development entities.

Rachael’s areas of interest and growing expertise are in leasing, wills (both simple and complex) and testamentary trusts, commercial drafting and commercial litigation.

Ana Leite

Ana is a qualified overseas solicitor with 5 years experience practicing in tax law and civil litigation in one of the major law firms in Brazil, having relocated to Australia in 2008. Since arriving in Australia, Ana has developed a career specifically in Property Law. She joined our firm in 2009 and is working hard to gain further experience in all areas of property law. She had developed a broad knowledge in residential conveyancing processes and now manages all straight forward transaction files. Ana is a valued contributor to our firm and shows great capacity to deal with big workloads and a wide variety of property issues.
